Judith and Warren fell in love while studying insects in Switzerland (amazing) and despite having to date long distance for a while they made it work and eventually got engaged. With family and friends spread all over the globe they had hoped to have a local wedding with everyone in attendance. Covid had other plans however and like many couples in 2020 and 2021 they decided to have an intimate wedding instead. Warren grew up in Burnaby so they decided to elope at Barnet Marine Park and have a zoom ceremony back at his family home. I met them early in the morning at the oceanfront park and we had the place to ourselves. The ocean was glass, the fog rolled through and we spent a beautiful hour together shooting portraits. The day before Bespoke Decor came by the home and setup a stunning backdrop complete with candles and vintage lighting. Over 100 guest joined the zoom ceremony from all corners of the earth and afterwards spent time sharing memories with Judith and Warren. Left feeling grateful for all my clients who went ahead with their elopement ceremonies this year despite all the challenges they faced.
