As a Whistler wedding photographer I love shooting at unique venues in this stunning town. When someone in the family owns a stunning home on the edge of a lake surrounded by mountains, it’s time to stop looking for a venue: Brittany and Dean’s wedding was literally a breath of fresh air, an intimate affair overlooking spectacular Nita Lake in Whistler, BC. As guests mingled on the lawn, canoes paddled the waters below, and it seemed as though the day fell perfectly into place for even those outside the wedding party. When the rain eventually did come (as with most West Coast weddings), it was less an inconvenience and more a warm ushering indoors for all that the evening held. The reception echoed Brittany and Dean’s laid-back personae perfectly, with an organic spread that could rival any downtown Vancouver eatery, and guests that were too busy laughing and dancing to realize the wedding had ended, and marriage had begun. Party on, Ogdens :)
I can’t say enough good things about the vendors below who helped make this day happen. If you are planning your own wedding in Whistler I can’t recommend this bunch highly enough:
Planner // Carlee @ Pocketful Productions
Caterer // The Collective Kitchen
Florist // Billies Flower House
DJ // Aimee Hawker
Hair + Makeup // Natacha Trottier
Photographer // Mathias Fast Photography
Thanks for stopping by!
