While it is officially called the Las Vegas Grammar School, this wedding venue has almost from the beginning been referred to as the fifth street school due to its location just outside of downtown Las Vegas. As a wedding venue located off the Las Vegas strip it has a completely different feel than the glitz and glam many expect. It truly is a “cultural oasis” in the midst of downtown Las Vegas’ office and legal corridors and is a beautiful setting for your wedding. This mission-style wedding venue in Las Vegas is totally unique. The interior courtyard is perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony and provides ample shade for your guests on hot day. The Historic fifth street school can seat up to 350 guests making it the perfect venue for large weddings. Despite being a large space the venue (especially the courtyard) has a very intimate feel to. The courtyard can also double as the setting for cocktail hour. The area has so many unique backdrops that make for unique Las vegas wedding photos. If you have your wedding at the historic fifth street school there’s no need to leave the surrounding area for portraits. A wedding reception at the historic fifth street school can either be held outdoors in the courtyard or inside in the auditorium. A bonus to having your wedding at this historic las vegas wedding venue is the ability to bring your own alcohol. This helps keeps costs down and makes it a fantastic las vegas budget friendly wedding venue.
