Wedding at The Wallace Venue

Thanks for stopping by! If you are interested in having your wedding at the Wallace venue in North Vancouver and still need a photographer I would love to hear from you. Not only is it one of the most unique wedding venues but one I am very familiar with. At the bottom of this post you will find pricing info for hosting your wedding at the Wallace.

The Wallace Wedding Cost

The Wallace has different wedding pricing depending on what day of the week you want to host your celebration. A weekend wedding date will cost you $6000 + gst while the rate for a weekday wedding is $4500 + gst. They also offer the option of a half day weekday for $2250 + gst.

Included in the rates are exclusive use of the space, 200 chairs, table and two wireless microphones. All other rental items such as linens, decor, dinnerware etc. need to be brought in separately. Both the Wallace and I can recommend a number of incredible vendors to help with this.

Food and Beverage is not included in the rates but the Wallace has partnered with the fantastic Lavish Liquids to provide an amazing bar menu. They also require that you hire a wedding/event planner and choose a caterer from their exclusive catering list.

The new kid on the block! The Wallace is Vancouver’s newest wedding venue and a welcome addition to a city lacking in modern and industrial wedding spaces. It’s located in the Shipyards adjacent to Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver and just a stone’s throw from other amazing venues such the Pipe Shop and the Polygon Art Gallery. A medium sized venue that can host up to 160 guests for both a wedding ceremony and reception, the Wallace features unique architectural details inspired by its surroundings. As a new wedding venue in Vancouver, I haven’t had the chance to photograph a real wedding here yet so I setup up a shoot with some of the top wedding vendors in the city to show what can be done in the space. The white walls, ample natural light and exposed ceiling allow for a range of wedding styles. For this shoot Sweetheart events dreamed up a Havana Nights inspired wedding. The abundance of plants mixed with gold details and stunning florals from Celsia were the perfect colour choice for the venue.
