There are golf course wedding venues and then there is the Riverway Clubhouse. This grand venue is unlike any other in Vancouver. With soaring ceilings, naturally-inspired wood beams and floor to ceiling windows the Riverway Clubhouse is in my opinion the best golf course wedding venue in Vancouver. With both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremony options and a massive reception space for up to 210 the clubhouse is very versatile. Tanya and Faisal chose to have their ceremony on the back deck overlooking the golf course. The huge awnings not only provide shade for their guests (very important for an outdoor wedding) but also looked good too. The recently added bridal suite at Riverway Clubhouse provided the perfect space for Tanya to get final touchups before the wedding ceremony. Following the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the huge covered patio. For those wanting a natural feel to their wedding venue without being right in the middle of the forest, the Riverway Clubhouse offers it. The floor-ceiling windows and tall ceilings allow for plenty of natural light, perfect for those romantic wedding photos. The indoor wedding reception space is also versatile and perfect for large weddings. Tanya and Faisal chose to decorate the inside with string lights and it added the right touch to the already natural space. When it comes to wedding photos at Riverway Clubhouse you are spoilt for choice. The golf course itself is beautiful and wide open which makes for perfect sunset photo opportunities. There is also a stunning riverside park just a minute down the road. Below are a few other details that help make Riverway Clubhouse the perfect venue for your Vancouver golf course wedding:
- Plenty of free parking: One of the perks of having your wedding in the suburbs of Vancouver is not having your guests pay for parking. The large lot also means your guests won’t have to spend much time trying to find a spot.
- While perfectly suited for large weddings, Riverway clubhouse also gives the option of splitting the banquet room for a max capacity of 150 or 60 people.
- For those wanting a detail heavy wedding, your planner will love the easy of access to the venue. Not only do you receive early entry but the loading zone is conveniently located directly adjacent the reception space
- As already mentioned, couples that book their wedding at Riverway clubhouse also receive access to the large patio overlooking the scenic lake. It truly is a beautiful spot for both a ceremony and/or cocktail hour.
