The Painted Rock Winery wedding of Golya and Nathan was a waking dream. From the moment the wedding party took their sets at the ceremony, to the last song on the dance floor, the entire day was perfect.
The Painted Rock Winery is known for being a premiere British Columbia destination wedding venue in the wine country of British Columbia. There’s a breathtaking view of the valley below as the sun sets over the perfect pairing of pastoral fields meeting the rugged tree-lined hills.
Throughout the day, while the beautiful couple’s love was celebrated, they were a part of a bigger family. This was not only a celebration of two people, but the community of fathers, mothers, aunts, uncles, sisters, and brothers that supported them along the way.
Golya’s family is Persian and they honoured their traditions throughout the day including ceremonial knife dance and the honey Aghd (ceremony) all under the big sky that I love in the one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
