While there are plenty of great golf course wedding venues in Vancouver, The Richmond Golf and country club is one of the best. Located at the south edge of Richmond, this flexible venue is perfect for both wedding ceremonies and receptions. The private nature of the club lends a luxurious feel to your event while not being as expensive as many other golf clubs in the lower mainland. Jennie and Spencer held their ceremony on the back patio and while the space can accommodate a large number of guests it still has an intimate feel to it. Always important, the backdrop of fairways lined with willow trees is spectacular at all times of the day. The ceremony space works best later in the day when the sun is lower in the sky and makes for warm, backlit wedding photos. Richmond Golf and Country club has so many trees of the property that it has plenty of shaded areas. This is ideal for wedding photos (especially family portraits) during the middle of the day when the sun can be quite harsh. The patio also doubles as a great cocktail reception space and can be combined with the ballroom to provide your guests with both indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy. The reception space has a modern feel to it, something not often found in golf club wedding venues. The Richmond Golf Club also provides their own catering with makes planning your wedding much easier. Like many golf course wedding venues in Richmond, they also provide you with a dedicated on site manager to help the day run smoothly. The ballroom at Richmond Golf and country club is a large space which means there will be plenty of room for a dance floor. Many couples choose to have the dance floor in the middle of the room surrounded by table rounds. If you are considering having your wedding at a golf course in Richmond or Vancouver I’d highly recommend taking a look at this flexible and elegant space!
