What to say… I cannot speak highly enough of Mathias and the joy and passion he brought to our wedding weekend. He first photographed our engagement in Whistler, and made me and my now wife feel so comfortable and at ease that we just had to have him photograph our wedding in Tuscany. Over the course of the weekend, it really felt like we had just another friend behind the camera, which added a priceless element to the day.
This all without mentioning the quality of the pictures, which are totally unrivalled. We were completely blown away when he sent them through after just 2 months and we can’t stop looking at them. Anyone can pick up a camera and take pictures but Mathias has an eye for a shot that most wouldn’t even dream of.
We are hopeful our paths will cross again soon and can’t recommend Mathias enough! Thanks mate

For those of you planning a destination wedding in Tuscany look no further than Fattoria e villa di Rignana. It truly is a breathtaking luxury wedding venue in the middle of the vineyards and olive groves. Michael and Chloe spent the week living in the villa with their families – something most people take advantage of when holding their wedding at the Villa Rignana. The morning of was relaxed with plenty of laughs which made for great candid wedding photos at the Tuscna villa. While we were fortunate to have a beautiful warm day, the detail on the interior walls of the villa would make for great rainy wedding day portraits. The wedding ceremony location in the middle of the olive orchard was breathtaking. Michael and Chloe exchanged vows with the rolling Tuscan hills in the distance – the perfect Italy destination wedding location. As guests enjoyed cocktail hour around the infinity pool, we took candid wedding photos throughout the property. The historic church and nearby village made for incredible photos that rival any destination in the world. The outdoor reception took place on the lawn behind the villa under hundreds of string lights. I managed to sneak the couple away for a few nighttime wedding photos under the stars – truly magical! After the romantic wedding reception everyone hit the dance floor adjacent to the villa to party the night away. Already looking forward to the next destination wedding at Fattoria e villa di Rignana.
